The lack of transportation problem.

Not only is my lack of transportation hurting my ability to visit my husband, but now a local bird group sent out an email with a local job in it.
The issue: I would be fit to do it, and its a regular permanent job with benefits, but it states clearly you need transportation.
Seriously do I apply still and hope I find transportation, or give it up?
The job involves teaching research techniques and also environmental education, and creating maps and signs, it's like everything I'm good at rolled into one job... Darn.

How long is the place from the nearest public transportation?

I couldn't use public transportation for this one

When I told my hubby he said I need to stop looking for jobs because I need to take care of him when he gets home.

He keeps having this idea he's going to sue the hospital for a botched surgery and get all this money making our problems go away. But I don't even think that's ethical or he has a case.

I'm getting seriously depressed right now.

Maybe you could ride with somebody--like in a carpool---and pay for part of the gas.
