Now my job interview I had today didn't go so well...

So I'm going to move to that town, but someone reminded me there was a nature center very close by. I looked at their website, and not hiring but they accept volunteers... And soon they will even have raptors (birds of prey) there and raptors are a sub-obsession that is part of my overall bird obsession (I know more about raptors and their ID than most birdwatchers even) and I've worked at a raptor center and a hawk migration site before so when the nature center gets its raptors I would at least visit a lot...

Volunteer work can be a good idea if you get enough from disability that you don't need the money.

I know a very smart lady who does volunteer work. She has mental health issues and can't interact with customers.

Sounds like it'd be something you'd enjoy, so it could be nice. But can you afford it? Time that's used for voluntary work is away from the time you could use for a job or looking for a job. Though if you can balance these out then there's nothing stopping you from applying for voluntary work.

That sounds like an enviable opportunity.

Oh, and i knew I had aunts and uncles nearby, but I found out I have an aunt/uncle that lives in the same building I'm going to! And yes, they are good relatives.

The guy said right before I move in... The landlord still needs to calculate rent based on income and deposit

Is it a one-bedroom, or a studio?

Congratulations when you sign the lease.

This is the start of a better life for you, I believe.

Better, the guy only had two bedroom apartments open so that is what I get for now. :D

Just make sure you don’t let some guy live with you out of loneliness.

I did just that...with women....and I regretted it.

I did that with the guy that turned into my husband a year later.... Ummm... Yeah..... I'm not saying it was bad but not necessarily good either.

My cousin since she works nearby asked if she could sleep in the extra bedroom occasionally... Meh...

Now...that’s annoying! And intrusive.

She should help pay for the food a little bit.

That's excellent! And electric, too!

That means you'll have about $550 to spend per month on other things, if I'm correct about this.
