A while back, I was applying to all sorts of jobs again. I heard back from one today.....

Federal job I only qualify for because I can get in under Schedule A (disabled). Permanent with benefits.

But it's very far from here but it says they reimburse moving expenses...

But my husband... Who came out of that surgery even more disabled (he's still can't use his right arm/hand well)

I don't even know what to tell him about this!! ! I know they want to interview I think (the email simply asked if I was still interested, I think I will call the phone number tomorrow)

Uggghhh

Can your husband move with you?

You should definitely say you're interested and go for an interview. You can always turn it down if you have to, but get to the offer point first.

I would have to find care for him, he can't take care of himself anymore (he is currently in a rehab/nursing home)

Oh, and the job announcement was hiring for 79 locations and ummm I got qualified so I might hear from more....

It's customer service at a rangers station at a national Forest...

If you get a Federal job----and they know you have a disability----I would think that this would something that would be hard to refuse.

^ Absolutely. And it would be a way you could genuinely support your husband as well as yourself.

Absolutely go for it. Federal jobs cover all 50 states and territories, so of you live in California but a job opens up in South Carolina, it doesn't mean you won't be able to transfer down the road if a spot opens up.

I wouldn't worry about them not responding back. Everyone takes leave after the holidays.
