Recent news stories has brought me a rather interesting Question for the community.

I decided to investigate Further thru other publicaitons and see if any other companies were leaning that way. it seems acording to tech check, tech force news and few other news outlets that alot of digital asset and cloud based companies are heading for work from home. You'd essentailly clock in online and start you work. Theres talk in the business world (including mad money) that some people may be force into contract based work (something I hope they don't bring back), and some commission based work. Crowd sourcing departments may become a regular thing. and then theres the Projected side effect. that this may open up making outscourcing more easier to do. on the flip side of that, companies are pledging to keep most of there jobs here in the USA. the other talk is that alot of our world may shift to online. . strangly enough some of it is playing out like "ready player one" and maybe the anime Summer Wars. (keep in mind though all of the abve is mostly Conjecture, guess work by the business news world). At the same time were going to be seeing the disappearance of brick and mortar shops (physical locations). some Physical shops are going to become essentailly oversized warehouses for there web stores. some jobs may be loss for the convience.

The biggest upshot is that the Neuro diverse person can now join the office work life from the comfort of there own home. Those who would be Problematic due to office noise. harsh deadlines and coworkers that create drama in the office itself. This allows alot of Neuro diverse to maybe show what were truely capable if not in a presured enviorment. that were just not a statistic.

any hoot, lets discuss this what are your feelings and thoughts on it ?

Mean while in related news, alot of traditionally brick and mortar shops are turning to online retail and soon online retail only. upshot is we can now get things cheaper thru amazon. downside is that brick and mortar shop jobs go out the window.

I'm a real life example. I worked in an office until 3.17.20. Since that time I've worked from home. It has improved my life in many ways to the point that I decided to disclose my autism to my employer and ask for permanent work from home status as a reasonable accommodation under the ADA. I was granted work at home status.

Although my coworkers are mad and resentful about my new status (I'm not sure if they're aware of my diagnosis), I don't see myself wanting to every work at a job where I'd need to commute every day and commune with coworkers again.

YAY MAGNA! I'm so happy for you. I wish all autistic people could automatically work-from-home.

I can say that leaving work (permanently) was the best day of my life. Never, ever, ever, again!
