What are some examples of bad and wrong actions and statements that an on duty employee allegedly made, that they got away with? Coworkers or customer service examples

"I ain't giving any of you any raises because the economy is screwed up enough as it is!"

They went out of business a few years later because all the good people went to work for the competition.

(Not really illegal, but still a jerk statement anyway.)

My boss got away with making me work for free and wage theft by not paying me a dime
