Are you in the US? For food stamps, go to your county "job and family services division."..you'll need to fill out forms regarding work status, rent, etc... for ssi and ssdi, you 'll need to make an appt at your social security office and go in person, do not fill it out online....they need to see you, the applicant, to ensure that you are indeed qualified for ssdi and ssi. This may take several months, I applied in the summer for our daughter, and am still waiting for my answer. Do you have a bank account? Do you have a trust fund? Are you 18 and over? Younger? Are your parents still with you? Do you have a caseworker who can help you with the paperwork or legal questions?Sorry about the ambush of questions, I am in the process of these things right now for our daughter, who just turned 18.
