Could be far fetched(thats for you to decide), but maybe that one girl who tries to small talk you does think you're cute. Take this the right way but you seem to be in decent shape and you have a job. Not too mention, it seems girls are a little more willing to have(go after) a relation with a coworker if they're attracted.

I woudnt really worry about it tho boss, the whole "social awkwardness". By my research, most people are socially awkward, its just the severity that changes. Not too mention, many people ONLY realize certain turn offs and ons of society because they want to belong. Aspies have a high sense of pride, enjoy who they are. They just dont want to seek out help because they dont want to seem weak, or needy. They want to do it on thier own, thier own way. Thats not the herd mentality, and thats what seperates us from society.

Just relax, let yourself be free, yet under control. Quick question tho, do they know you have asperger's? They're probably just curious to understand your differences. Be confident in who you are and others dont doubt you as much...

To be on the safe side, tell them you are "wired" differently. You know how most people only hear words like "syndrome," "disorder," or, if you around high schoolers, "ass-burgers."

What a very sweet boy! Who's the actor? i didn't understand anything of what he says, though, because he speaks with a heavy American accent and there are no subtitles..

I work as a dishwasher too. The servers don't really notice me that much, which doesn't bother me. Being a server is 50% social, and the other 50% co-ordination. It's a different world. Everyone's just talking about nothing really. To be honest, I'm glad most of the servers ignore me.
I get along great with one of the other dishwashers(she and I both like gaming and other "geek" stuff), but with everyone else, I just act like myself. They have to accept sooner or later that I'm really not gonna say much(unless you come up to me and start talking about Final Fantasy or HunterXHunter), and that it's nothing personal. I'm just quiet.
And the girl is only 19...at that age, most people go through a "post-adolescence know-it-all" stage. Just smile and nod when she pulls the "armchair psychiatrist" baloney.
