I hate to bring this up, but this is a serious issue. I was watching a recent airing of 20/20 on the subject of bullying. The first kid they did a story on was an aspie. I immediately thought of this thread. I honestly think many parents don't realize just how bad it can be for kids in schools, especially aspie kids.

I'm so glad to read that you are feeling better today. It's so hard to watch your child struggle in pain and not know how to help him. There have been many times when I felt as though my son was drowning in his depression and pulling me down with him. I always felt much better when I could come up with a concrete plan to help him.
