and by the way for a 1 1/2 year old tup is cup so he said exactly what you wanted woohoo
ask your speech therapist for a list that will show which letters will show up like t=c (there's a word for this but i forget what it is) then you can really really see how he's saying the words perfect his mouth just hasn't developed the ability to make a C sound yet i can't remember exactely what age it does perhaps 4 or 5?? the therapist will know..
