Are they, or are they not paying for your apartment?
If so, you'll have to deal with it. If you can't get a job, that's too bad. When we're helpless, we get treated as such.

That's a terrible thing to say. Even disabled people who can't be fully independent deserve respect and privacy. It's not the parents' job to support their adult children, but if they do, it's their choice. If they don't help, the state usually does.

They weren't the same but I had boundary issues with my father, talking every hour and pestering the head of the College.
During exams when I was very stressed to begin with. We had a huge row on christmas day. and didn't talk for weeks. When
we did It was more of a relationship of equals. The transition could have been handled better but sometime you need to destroy the old relationship to build a new one.
