Great Ster, it will take time but progress will happen. Z's IEP has beebn in place for two years. Last year was a series mountains and valleys but we have seen some great progress this year. It has really helped that his clasroom teacher is so in tune with his needs and can deal with him successfully. Even his classmates [many have been with him since pre-school] will come up to us and say Z is doing much better this year.

I know you do this but I'll say it anyway, Praise your daughter for all successes and encourage her to do better when she messes up. This road is full of twists and potholes but at the end of it is the happiness and welfare of our children, a journey well worth taking. At least we can meet other travellers and share our adventures.

Good luck and safe journey. keep me posted.
