Um, actually, it'sthe state of Oregon's birthday but I love Oregon so it's like my birhtday, too!

I usually do nothing on Valentines Day, but this year, I'm going to waste a whole bunch of time, sitting in front of this computer. Hooray for me! :wink:

i give chocolates to my kids as well as my hubby......for me valentines day is about showing others that you care for them. doesn't have to be romantic love......when i was single, i'd get myself chocolates

ok, i like your outlook. And that is something I wanted to post about, too. Sometimes holidays like these can pressure people into focusing on what they don't have, rather than loving the people they do have.

I spent Valentine's Day making about 200 heart-shaped pepperoni pizzas for about 200 impatient, obnoxious customers. How stupid is an effing heart-shaped pizza, anyway? You can't cut that into equal slices!

But I got presents in the mail from Bee, which cheered me up.

Presents cheer me up, too, especially when I'm the one giving them.
