He might like it. Try it if he gets unhappy with school where he is, and ask him, don't assume he's alright. Some kids also don't like to say they're unhappy because they don't want people to see them as pathetic, so just say "Let's try this, I heard it's good" or something. If it's a pressure thing, maybe... well, there are lots of homeschooling threads you can read. :)
