That's too bad Biene! :(

How did you have it done? We went with a private psch, because the waiting list for an eval at school was really long. But we've heard from people who have had it done at school, and it was a much less in depth process, but still private and not at all difficult or unpleasant. Probably a lot depends on the individual school division.

had it done through family doc., paediatrician and then referral to "mental health"...
after a teacher blabbert out to me my son could have Aspergers or Tourettes
He had really bad OCD back then because of this teacher.
I think the teacher was in trouble for telling me this.
I asked for a note from teacher and they were having this staff meeting all of a sudden .
The "principal" then wrote the note saying that the school is not qualified to make a diagnosis but such and such behavior wer observed that could point to As/Tourettes or many other child hood disorders. (something like that)
