Yeah, when I was in the hospital with number 4 some nurse told me I was holding him wrong... Apparently his angle was off by about 10 degrees or something. It was a "um, we're good, thanks" moment.

I just realised something quite extraordinary, which is that unless WP is just the sort of place that breastfeeding mothers are attracted to, or the bottle-feeding mothers on WP simply haven't been voting in the poll, it would seem that AS/Autism is caused by breastfeeding 8O  ...

... because there is no way, in the general, ( non-AS ), population, 11 mothers breastfeeding for every 3 bottle-feeding!! ! ( even if weaning is achieved at hyperspeed, "à la ancienne", before 6 months that is )

Maybe breastfeeding in the modern, ( "pesticide and herbicide, growth-hormone, steroid, and antibiotic saturated" ), world is "dangerous". Maybe it is no longer safe to breastfeed!

At the very least it is interesting that so few mothers on WP seem to have bottle-fed their baby, ( unless it's just that mothers that bottle-feed don't tend to vote in polls  )

And warm weather causes people to lose weight. People are thinner in the summer, you know. There must be a cause and effect between the sun and what we weight, right? Just run up some heat lamps and you'll get thin! Lol, yeah, quite a few steps are skipped in that conclusion.

Where I live breastfeeding is at 80 - 90%. I don't find our numbers, here, to be odd at all. But I wouldn't be surpised if there was some connection, for the simple fact that AS has a genetic component, and adults with AS traits are very logical beings who like to follow rules. Right now, that rule is that breast is best. Breastfeeding, then, doesn't cause AS, but AS may increase the odds of breastfeeding ;)
