My knee-jerk reaction: Your son needs a gun! Not to use, just to brandish. And some antidepressants.


Shut up; that was my knee-jerk reaction. Probably a little true tho. :D


Or can you pull him out of school; would he be happier? Show him this board; this can be his social life while he finds another one that he likes and feels comfortable with all the time.

i don't think guns really solve anything!! as for anti depressants, they don't give them to kids here in dublin. he's having play therapy once a week and it seems to be having a positive effect recently. the teachers' support for him at last is making a huge difference too.

he has recently joined a warhammer club. he goes to the warhammer store on saturdays and they paint their little figures and have battles on a big model of a scene i can only describe as looking like the big battle scene from lord of the rings, set up in the middle of the store. it's full of kids who are all on the same wavelength and he really enjoys this.
