My son's goals on his IEP are all social. I think he has met most of the them and needs more of a challenge. Any ideas? He is 10 in the 5th grade.

Why don't you tell us what the social goals are that you feel he has already met, and then we could possibly come up with future goals.

I second that (schleppenheimer's suggestion).

Also... as his parent, what do you think his particular strengths and weaknesses are?

IEPs are supposed to be individualised so you need to use your son's strengths to plug his weak spots. The best way to start that process is to come up with a list of them.
