Congratulations! Looks like you made a step forward. Great job.

Still, I'm having a little bit of trouble relating to this, since I loved scrambled eggs and cheese as a child. I even preferred natural cheeses to that Kraft stuff. But I'm sure your son has a texture issue, which you're probably very glad he was able to overcome. I'm also curious which component bothered him more: the eggs or the cheese?

I am assuming the child had sensory issues with food or was in general a picky eater and would not try new foods. However, the child tried scrambled eggs with cheese for the first time and found that they like them.

Yes, he does have textural issues. I remember going to I-Hop when he was 12 months and he would not touch anything! The other kids were gobbling up their eggs and pancakes. Now he is 5 and is doing so much better! Maybe it helped that his little sister wanted to eat eggs too :) - good peer pressure. In any case, this is such an improvement and just goes to show that with time, he will try new foods and then find out that they actually taste good :P

He still won't touch pasta or rice or chicken - doesn't like that. I guess it's the texture or ability to handle them in his mouth? But he will eat a cheeseburger now (another accomplishment)!

Thanks for sharing in my happiness!

WoOt!
My son loves "cheese eggs" too! Which I was overjoyed about since it's protein and fat - two things he really needs to be eating.

Awesome, makes a great meal :)
