Okay my mother called me tonight to tell me a story that happened when she was looking after my son on the weekend.
Here goes;
They're laying on the couch together watching a movie, when my son Evan (7 yrs) says;
"I want to listen to your tummy and see if it's saying it's hungry"
so he lays his head on Gramma's tummy.
Gramma: "is it saying I"m hungry?"
Evan: "no... it's saying, 'I'm fat, I'm fat, I'm fat".
Gramma - aghast - "oh Evan, that hurts my feelings real bad when you say my tummy is fat. That makes me feel like crying. I don't want you to tell me my tummy is fat."
Evan - considering this unforeseen turn of events - says;
"let me listen again Gramma."
Gramma: "okay.... what's it saying?"
Evan: "it's not saying that anymore Gramma. Now it's saying... "I'm perfect, I'm perfect, I'm perfect."
LOL
