I was just watching my son run around in the sunshine - he often watches his shadow when he runs instead of watching where he is going (yikes!) and it just occurred to me that Peter Pan must have been an Aspie! Maybe my son thinks that his shadow is going to get away if he doesn't watch it!

Due to the Executive Function problems, it is quite literally true that all Aspies are Peter Pans...

Now if I could just get my hands on some Pixie dust, I'd blow this pop stand...

When I was in first grade I played Peter Pan with the
transformational imagination that the school pavement
between the building and the playground is the air in
the sky, and the Never-never-land was the playground.

I think Peter Pan personality (agelessness, never growing up)
is also called "Puer Aeternis" but that does not make it
irrelevant to autism in any way, I don't think.

I know someone like that... Randy .... Peter Pan,
forgot his last name... I think he has a website with music,
try google "Randy Peter Pan".

I'm not sure, but I can believe Michael Jackson may have
been this personality type also, unless they found serious
evidence that he was abusive. I really don't know.

I remember running around and watching my own shadow, when I was little. I was afraid, that I was going to lose it, and that I'd have to sew it on.

I actually remember watching my shadow as a tot for the same reason I suspiciously eyed my reflection in the mirror - I had the creepy feeling that when I wasn't watching, it did things I wasn't doing. 8O
