I met with my daughter's therapist today to go over the recent med changes and to discuss what the 'treatment'plan would be (long story short, my daughter has always had issues with raging/outbursts, both at school and home).
The therapist recommended that we contact the insurance company so that they could help find (e.g., an "in network" provider) a "Behavior Intervention Specialist" - specifically, one who is familiar with Asperger's and can come to our home to observe/work with our daugher and the family in general.
Has anyone else worked with this type of provider - and what was the experience like?
