I live in a rural area and physcologists are hard to come by. I finally called one and asked him if he was familiar with Aspergers Syndrome and he said "Aspergers Disorder"?
Which is it? My son was diagnosed with Aspergers SYNDROME and every book i've read calls it that also.... so is this a dumb dr? or is it now being calls AD ? Needless to say I did not make an appointment... I think I need to move :(

Do not worry bigbear. Aspergers Syndrome and Aspergers Disorder are one and the same thing. In fact, if you go based on Aperger's original paper as well as Lorna Wings paper, the proper term is Asperger Disorder. The Asperger Syndrome term simply caught on with the populace and hence is used more regularly than Asperger Disorder.
