So my Dan had the day off from school today while his brother's did not... something that causes a lot of contention around here when it happens but anyway... from the minute his feet his the floor this morning there were questions. All kinds of questions. Sometimes so rapid fire that either his dad or I weren't even finished answering one that the next one was on the table. Everything from why do cats shed to what do you think it would be like if you had to follow the same rules as a car when you were walking down the street? It was exhausting and fun at the same time. These are the kind of days that I live for with him.

On a side note we had his eyes checked today as well b/c his teacher and an aide at school mentioned that he was blinking a lot (something I noticed myself once they brought it up). Only good news though as his glasses prescription only changed slightly and the blinking is probably just from dry eyes (it has been so freaking cold that we've had the heaters running constantly so I can see that being an issue) and he'll be getting new glasses in about a week. This I am over the moon about since I wanted to get him new ones since Christmas when I noticed his looked a little tight but was nervous to bring it up to my hubs who is all about not buying new until we absolutely need it.

Anyway, today was a good day and I just wanted to share. : :D

We should always share good days because I think it is important to celebrate the fact that not everything is difficult.

Thanks for sharing!
