Hi All~I'm Judi, proud mom of 3 sons, 18, 14 and 8. My 14 y.o. has Asperger's and is going through a real rough patch with the onset of adolescence and high school. I'm going to lurk a bit before I jump in but just wanted to say hi.

Hi Judi,

I did exactly what you said you wont and jumped in feet first with a question or two and desparate for support. Welcome, I have only been on a few days. I hope you reap the benefits that I have already as all the forum members have been superb.

It seems that the teenage years are not only difficult for NTs. My daughters possible Aspergers has been highlighted because of the way she has stopped functioning in normal life from 12 years, she is now almost 15 years old and going to go through assessment. Its a crucial time and I my guess is, you wont feel alone in your plight to give your Aspie and your family the best possible chance of success and happiness.
