I'll add mine, again! At the beginning of this year, we had no formal diagnosis, little support at school, and not much understanding. I was in fear for my son's life and thought that if things didn't improve, I might be in danger myself.

Now, we have a diagnosis everybody understands, we just got a formal IEP, and we understand our son and ourselves sooo much better. DS is no longer violent, either towards others or himself. Even though the end of the school year is typically easier than the beginning, the changes are far more than we ever expected.

Thanks.

I want to say thanks too. I come here to ask questions that I don't know where else I could possibly ask. This board is a great resource. I feel like I can get someone else to give me insight/feedback that I know my daughter is unable to give me at this time.
