Olivia is almost 4 and she's very afraid of any kind of bug be it a household fly, an any or a moth. She covers up her mouth and nose and screams and cries.

Any idea of how to get her to be...what's the word? Indifferent? Aloof? ...toward them?

Has she had something fly into her mouth or something?

My daughter was terrified of any type of flying bug last year, we kept reassuring her that fly's wont hurt you and we would promptly swat the fly if it was in the house. This year she does not scream and freak out like last year, she still doesnt care for them but shes gotten better.

not to my knowledge.

I also think it may be her young age. All I can probably do is educate.

I HATE bugs as well! I don`t cry but I do freak out a little bit thinking it`s a spider or a bee, if it is then I really freak out!
