Sorry, it is the same as loose joints. I usually use both terms together.
My son seemed to be super flexible as an infant. Instead, what he has are loose joints. It doesn't not always present as flexibility, however; some with it can seem less mobile.
One of the things that happens with this is that a lot of the feedback nerves are trying to send to the brain get lost, because of all the ruts in the nerve highway at the joints, so kids with this also have an extra difficult time knowing where their bodies are in the air. The brain isn't getting all the signals.
