Something funny happened today, just thought I would share. My daughters nintendo DS had been broken for about 3 weeks. I came home from work today and saw her playing it. I said 'I thought your DS was broken?'. To which she replied 'yes, but brother fixed it with a bobbypin.' I flipped it over and took a look, certainly enough it had been pried open and it is now working. I questioned him on what he did to fix it with a bobbypin but he doesn't want to get into the detail.

So he is eight years old and we are still working on things like tying his own shoes. But apparently, things like fixing electronics with a bobbypin are easy.

I laughed so hard my eyes watered. I have to open it up this weekend when I have some time to see what he did.

I agree... that is awesome... Ingenuity!

If this gets out, you'll have kids lined up at your door with their broken game systems! :)

I'm 24 and still can't tie my own shoes. I gave up trying at age eight.
