Hi, all!Our 15 year old Aspie takes Risset for two months now. Ok, it helped with autoagression and agression, but we noticed that he is very hyper (we heard about possibility of that kind of side effects), and also he talks and laughs to himself more than before. It is very irritating for the whole family, noone is complaining, but it started to bother us all because the rest of us is or going to school,( therefore need time to study...)or working and need at least a few moments to rest.Does anyone have similar experience?

I take risperidone. I HATE the side effects! It made me gain about 70lb (from 130lb to 200lb at the same height 
) and it drastically decreased my sex drive to the point where it hurt to masturbate--I love masturbating! 
Weight gain is a huge problem for me due to sensory issues; I don't like the feeling of the extra fat moving around. It didn't make me hyper, but I still really want to get off of it. The side effects are starting to go away, though; I'm losing weight and my sex drive is slowly coming back. Good luck with your son--I hope this helped!
