A schoolteacher told my wife a couple of days ago "Look, we haven't officially released the maths test results yet, but I just wanted to say your [Aspie] son did really, really well"
Our response? "What maths test?"
The school note didn't make it back to us. The one that said he was suppose to practise in the week or two leading up to it. He just walked in and blitzed it without trying.
There have been a few social issues lately so it's great to have a win! He's not a genius or anything, but his brain lends itself really well to maths and science. That mathematical brain will be doing wonderful things when the playground is a distant memory.
