I recently received a call from my son's Resource Teacher. I just wanted to point out how well he's doing, within a year, since starting the GAPS program.

My son is finishing grade 7. I was told he is doing very well, socially. He is interacting with other children appropriately, to the point where the kids are seeking him out for partners. I was told he does NOT need support during recess and lunch, after much observation by staff members. I was very happy to hear that because, once upon a time, unstructured times have been the most difficult.

Part of this is also to do with maturity. I'm not giving GAPS 100% credit, but I do feel it's made the biggest impact in his life. I just wanted to share something positive! My son came home very happy - to tell me he no longer will be supervised. He was beaming!! :)
