IAN Webinar on Autism in adulthood

IAN is a group worth watching, they seem to be focused on outcomes and research and don't spend time hand-wringing like some other support organizations I won't mention here. I get their emails, which are infrequent but loaded with information.
This video discusses the use of adaptive behaviors in the real world, and how classroom work doesn't prepare people on the spectrum to build adaptive behaviors to make sure they function as best they are able once their school years are over. He notes that function and language are not necessarily correlated - something I see repeatedly here and something I think is worth discussing (he also talks about why he no longer uses the term "high-functioning" and "low functioning" as they don't indicate outcomes.)
