This is your reminder to start working on your SAT and College Board / AP test accommodation applications. Before Christmas. These take months to prepare and process, and applying when you register for the tests is too late.
It is best to have your school counselor do the actual submission for you, but you will need to have all sorts of documents and records and history in hand that will take time to gather (not to mention, the time to schedule new evaluations if the ones you have are too stale for the application guidelines). And the school counselor may not think of doing it unless you ask.

Thank you DW. We've been working on that too! A bit stressful, isn't it? At least for us
It was like fire drill for us so, yes, stressful. We had to get a private evaluation since the reports were all older, and the school wouldn't be able to move fast enough. That got tricky, too, because the professionals get backed up as everyone panics for the SATs. I definitely waited too long to find out and start the process! Hence, letting others know.
(Thankfully it was pretty slam dunk once we had it all together; nice, clear trail in my son's files and new testing was 100% consistent with the original back in 2nd grade).
