Does anyone know how you could get a credit report on your child who is a minor?
I've read that identity thieves are now targeting our kids (under and over 16). How? I don't know, but these things can really piss a parent off.

The largest credit-reporting business is Experian (the two other large reporting businesses are published at http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/02 ... es#contact online) and it published several answers http://www.experian.com/credit-advice/t ... redit.html to the questions of protecting minors' credit reports.

I believe that the best thing you could do to protect your child's report is to place a "security freeze" on your child's reports http://www.experian.com/consumer/security_freeze.html from each of the three large reporting businesses to restrict it being shared with anyone.

Good luck!
