So what is a SPAM filter?
We have all heard about SPAM - and it doesn't come in a can!

How do you turn on YOUR spam filter....

MicroSoft tells us that you need to purchase it, but today it comes for free with Vista? SOS?

The SoftWare that you purchse for instructing Messages that they are bad, usually contact a server to get the latest List of known addresses... but addresses are always created, and sometimes old ones come back into the .Net domain?

So what do you do?

Well like me, I just don't divulge my presence on the NET, or at the very least try to minimise it. I still get SPAM, but I find that it is quite minimal (compared to what I see on freinds computers) -I get around 5 spam messages a day, and they all originate from the fact that my one of my addresses has to be Public because I purchased a Website. -> I don't use a filter though. I am just overly cautious about my preseence.

-Q's -> It's too late I have already givven everyone my address, and the spam knows too much about me... ANS: change address.

Changin address and not indulging too much can help you to minimise the need to use YOUR spam filter.... it will never go away, but at least your delete key won't wear out.
