Police intervention: how it (should be) done

I know we all are more sensitive to the headlines about police killing individuals with autism, but at least one department knows the right way to handle a meltdown:

Of course, this is a relatively well-off, almost exclusively white suburb, which shouldn't matter - except I notice that autistic people of color or autistic people living in a disadvantaged neighborhood are more likely to face police violence.
At least somebody has the right idea, though.
