Learning about senses and hypersensitivity

Hi all,
I was wondering if any of you had any ideas. I
'm attempting to write a few picture books specifically talking to young children suspected to be on the autistic spectrum. They would be the first steps to opening a dialogue about things such as hypersensitivity to sound? I'm interested in any specific things you found helpful. Any books already out there (picture books for ages 3-6 yrs approx)
Also how helpful would you have found this?
On a personal note I found 'have you filled your bucket today' great. It teaches a bit about the give and take in relationships.
