I did not want to hijack the thread in which this was mentioned so I am starting a new one.

I know some of you have used this program in conjunction with an OT, but if anyone has also done the program at home, as a parent, I was wondering if you could tell me with which product it would be the best to start. The books/products are pretty pricey, so I would rather get only one resource, at least until I see if it works for my son.

Choices:
1) Leader's Guide
2) Test Drive: Introducing the Alert Program Through Song
3) Take Five: Staying Alert at Home and School
(I did not include the overview pamphlet b/c that did nor sound very useful)

Any thoughts on which would be best would be welcome.

Hmmm...OK, I looked those over and can only make a guess, since we didn't get any reading materials, but did the OT "class" but what you're looking for are sensory strategies. I would skip the CD, but am having difficulty determining which of the other two would be best.

There is some of the ideas here
