Hi, my name is Amanda and I am a student at UCCS. I have a couple quick questions about your child and the services that they are receiving:

Describe a day or a week in your child's life.

Are you getting services?

What works for you and your child?

What doesn't work?

Thank you,
Amanda

I am assuming you are doing some kind of paper or project on autistic children?

More information on your project would be helpful.

Autism is a spectrum and kids with autism have a variety of different traits, abilities and needs. If you are looking for a typical day of a typical autistic child, there isn't a "typical" autistic child and a typical day or week becomes meaningless.

Any effort to depict one would probably end up being some kind of unhelpful stereotype. If you are looking to see what the range is, maybe some more specific questions might be better than trying to accumulate profiles.
