hello, i was wondering of any one of the readers are from houston ,texas. i live there and i want to know if there exists a private inclusive school ,for children with autism, as my daughter is diagnosed with it and she is 8 years old,who is currently partly included in regular education, and receiving a special skills program ( i am not very happy with the public school level of professionalism ). i am aware that private schools are not required to report to the ministry of education ,about their curriculums and whether these curriculums is in unity with public school ones. if someone would know of a private school that is known to be a good school that is practicing inclusion ,plse let me know, thank you and best regards. barbara

I live in Houston. My son was diagnosed through the Monarch School. They have a great program there. http://www.monarchschool.org/curriculum/day-school

http://www.westviewschool.org - I had a friend whose daughter went here, too, and liked it.

http://briarwoodschool.org - This one is good as well, and I've had friends with kids with various learning differences attend here

Thnx, you mentioned schools that are only for children with delays, do you know if any that allows delayed children to study with non delayed peers?
