Anyone have opinions/info on schools in Mass for kids with Aspergers? I wonder if some school districts have better public education for mainstreamed kids with very high functioning ASD diagnoses. Especially in the eastern part of the state. Or, if you are in the area and home or private schooling your kids, I would love to hear from you, too!

Hi. How old is your child and would you go all the way to Boston?

Needham and Newton have great special ed programs. I've heard good things about Hopkinton too. My spectrum twins are 5 and are in pre-K. They're mainstreamed, but they get pulled out for OT and speech. It does come down to the specific school and teacher team though. What specifically do you think your child needs?? And would you move to any town/city/neighborhood to get it?
