I was curious if you all knew of any good apps for ipad or Ipod. We have both and my son absolutely loves it and thought I would see if there was anything out there for him ??????

What kinds of needs/interests does your son have? Is language an issue for him?

My understanding is that most of the *wow* factor in terms of ipads for autism, apply mainly to kids with communication challenges (non-verbal) but there are lots that may be helpful. Shannon de Roches Rosa is the go-to person for ipad apps and autism info. This is a link to her blog (you can see her and her son Leo in the actual Apple ipad2 launch video, and you can find a link on the left hand sidebar of her blog to her spreadsheet of ipad apps that are helpful for autistics): http://www.blogher.com/frame.php?url=ht ... icious.com
