Okay, so it really wasn't MY idea, I got it from a book and adapted it to our "potty issues."

Elaina has a very hard time with personal hygiene, especially wiping, flushing, and washing hands after using the toilet.

So I commissioned my mom, an artist, to make us some cards with pictures and one word. The first card says WIPE and has a picture of toilet paper, the second says FLUSH and has a picture of a hand flushing the potty, and the third says WASH and has a picture of hands being washed.
We laminated the cards and hung them in the bathroom, at her eye level, and in te eorder in which these tasks are performed.

IT WORKS IT WORKS IT WORKS! For now anyway. I am so excited!

That is great, hopefully if you can just set the routine in motion, it will perpetuate itself!

Great idea and great job! It's a nice and quiet reminder instead of a less pleasant reprimand. If it's just about the only interesting thing to look at in the bathroom (and it will be, at least to begin with when the cards are a novelty) as seen from the seat of the toilet, she gets that little hint at the right moment every time.

Don't forget to tell her that those cool folks who fly the airplanes use the same kind of thing; they even have a cool name for it: Checklists! :D

Very cool! I'm gonna have to try making something like that for my son as he seems to figure if he can't see anything on his hands they are clean >.< Same with other areas, lol.

Congratulations! That is awesome. :P

We are going to try something simular only pictures of chores laminated. But, have to wait for my replacement printer :(

I'm hoping it will help little bit keep her room clean.

If I can get Sport_Rulz to do 1/2 of his chores, I'll be happy. 8)

Keep up the good work. :D
