We received the assessment report back yesterday. Our youngest has been diagnosed with ASD LV1 like me. He's 10. I think he's just wonderful. Challenging in ways that our other kids are not? Oh, yes! But he's such an individual. I don't feel it's a full fledged dilemma at present, but at some point I'll wrangle with when to disclose his Dx to him.

Congratulations! :D

If my daughter gets officially diagnosed, she will be the first in the family - but based on traits, we have no single NT in our house

No single NT in my house either. Congrats Magna - and May your son have a uniquely wonderful life ahead of him, in spite of any challenges.

Thank you. He and I are a lot alike and I see myself in him when I was young, so it's not a surprise to me, it's a confirmation. He's in for a rough ride, but he'll have a guide in me that I didn't have with my parents.
