The adoption match fell through...but...(good news)...

The 6 month old baby boy we were hoping to adopt fell through- his social worker had requested some more information about our family and then never called back- we waited a week, then another social worker called last Wed. She has a 5 week old baby boy for us. We will be signing paperwork on Wednesday and then will go and pick him up Thurs. or Fri- depending on schedules of social workers and foster parents. It's a done deal.

We went shopping over the weekend and are just about prepared now. We didn't expect such a teeny baby, so we had a lot that we needed. EEK! can you say cha-ching? We got rid of all our baby stuff 2 1/2 years ago when we moved, thinking we were done with kiddos. LOL!

So, suffice it to say, we're gonna have a n extra busy household later this week with 4 kids

He's healthy, no special needs that they're aware of.

Wish us luck! Hopefully AS 9 y/o will be able to handle infant crying noises, etc- she's so bad with sensory overload these days.
