This is to every parent here who has ever had a sleepless night over their little aspie. I was blessed with an angel just like you folks. And believe me, it may take years, but someday all your effort will be rewarded with an adult who will realize how grateful they are for what you're doing right now, 24/7.

I have Aspergers and one of my sons has just been diagnosed with non verbal learning disorder, to be honest I think all parents have sleepless nights in regard to there children, but the best gift to me is being part of an aspie community who really understand...

Indeed, It took me many years but I understand tho my parents made mistakes, and who has not, but they did the best they could, and when it looked like I could never really be independent and decide how my life will be, I did, and I think parents have just as much to do as the ASD child.
