Toy Campfire

This is an Arts-n-Crafts project that my children did in an event at our local library. The idea is to create a mock-up campfire using household materials.



But more importantly, the video was made from PowerPoint. Yep, so simple. PowerPoint can be used to make simple animation video clips. For better sound quality I actually recorded the voice separately, but PowerPoint itself can record narration as well. There are plenty of tutorial on YouTube, so I won't bother giving explanations on how to do it. For iMac users, the equivalent alternative is to use the Keynote app.

On a climbing trip, my Aspie daughter built beautiful toy campfires, using dandelions to imitate flames. It was completely her idea.
