an adult needs on the average 7 hours of sleep a day.
as a person grows older time in the world seems to speed up for them, years pass quickly.
yet seem to last forever when were so young.
much of this I attribute to the adult not needing to process as much information since its been done already,
while a young mind needs time to process a days new experiences. down time.
also keep in mind that for a 10 year old 1 year may as well be seen as a decade of living compared to a 100 year old.

take for instance a 100 year old,
then that of a 10 year old.
and then a 1 year old.
each one has lived 10 times longer then the next.
to each its been a life time for them.
but add as from adult of finished growth (lets say 20)
add 18 minutes for each year younger.
always split the extra down time with going to bed sooner and that of an actual nap time.
so a baby of 1 would need a total of 13 hours sleep a day,
This sound right?

No. Compact what you've said and one gets, "For every year a person ages from birth to age twenty, he or she sleeps for eighteen minutes less per day." I'm pretty sure that is not true.
