My daughter displays oppostional defiance and conduct disorder problems. Can this go with AS and does any one have a child with such challenging type behaviours?

for awhile, the docs tried to say that son had ODD & conduct disorder. of course, this was all pre-dx..... turns out that there were so many things son didn't understand. so many social cues he misinterpreted. he was scared & felt that no one understood him, nor liked him. it took awhile to turn him around. thankfully, he's pretty straightened out now. CBT helped , as did moving him to a smaller therapeutic school, and getting him on the right combination of medications.

It goes with ADHD so I don't see why it couldn't go with AS: lots of negative experiences that arise from having AS, and feeling "wrong" all the time, turn into defiance.
Apart from that, the symptoms of AS could be misinterpretted as OD/CD. Sure would think "conduct disorder" fits the bill
