This is a parents board and I was curious about my little sisters behaviors one is 9 the other is 7. :-) The 9 year old is rude alot and keeps going on and on example: I wasn't rude! dad: yes you were her: NO I WASN'T! etc. she then has to write X number times not to be rude/yell etc. Another behavior IMO annoyance is the 7 year old whining if she doesn't get her way. It's embarrassing in a Mall or store any tips with dealing with these behaviors? I'm sorry I'm asking this on WP but this is the parent board and I was thinking I could see a parents point of view on whether these behaviors are ok/normal for an NT child or whatever the issue mainly if someone elses child here has these behaviors Thanks FELLOW PARENTS OF WP!

I find it interesting that your sister insists she wasn't rude, while your dad insists she was. I can't see what writing sentences is going to do to do resolve that. It sounds like a communication and perception problem to me, that needs talking out and examples.

The whinning ... young girls do that. The problem is, they tend to get results with it, and so they keep it. If ignored, it is more likely to go away.
